If you do not manage culture, it manages you - Think about it when implementing agile.

Agile is a great way of thinking about software development but that doesn’t mean it fits in with all company cultures. How important is company culture for agile adoption? Edgar Schein, a professor at MIT Sloan School of Management, says "If you do not manage culture, it manages you, and you may not even be aware of the extent to which this is happening." We need to define what we mean by culture before exploring Agile further. Let’s introduce the Schneider Culture Model. This model is useful to figure it out.
